Do not put the BN9 0BN postcode straight into your sat nav. It can take students to a nearby industrial estate. Use the instructions below.
How to get to Seahaven Maritime Academy

Travelling by car
Use the entrance via McKinley Way to Gate 4. This staffed security barrier entrance is open 24/7. Once through security, Seahaven is by the yellow crash barriers on the first bend.
Walking, cycling or scooting
Use the East Quay entrance on Beach Road, Newhaven, BN9 0BX. This entrance is staffed 6am to 6pm. Outside these hours or at weekends, use the security buzzer.
Travelling by train
Use Newhaven Town or Newhaven Harbour, depending on timetable options. From there, follow the walking guidance and use the East Quay entrance on Beach Road.
Travelling by air
London Gatwick is the closest airport. Trains run roughly every 30 minutes and take less than an hour with one change at Lewes. Do not fly in on the morning of your course.

Parking is available just outside the centre. Download and print the harbour map before travelling, especially if it is your first time visiting Newhaven Port.
